How do I know I won't get ripped off?

Three things. One: nothing leaves your account until after the site visit and the written quote. Two: the quote is itemised in English — every component named, every cost fixed, no miscellaneous line. Three: the warranty is local and printed on paper. If anything goes wrong, you message us and we come back.

What if the contractor team disappears halfway through?

We don't subcontract. The crew that quotes the job does the job. You meet them before they start, you have their numbers, and they're on your plot until handover.

Will the contract be in English I can read?

Accepted Answer

Yes. The quote, the contract, the warranty document, the monitoring app — all in English. If you'd like a Thai version alongside for your records or your Thai partner, we provide that too.

Does solar actually work during Pai's rainy season?

Accepted Answer

Yes, with a 30–40% output drop on the heaviest cloud days. Every system we design has a battery sized to carry your daily load through cloudy stretches. The upside: rainy season is when the water table is highest and wells drill fastest.

Can foreigners legally own solar on leased land in Thailand?

Yes. Solar equipment is personal property — it's not attached to the land title. Foreigners on long-term leases install solar here regularly. Your panels, inverter, and batteries are yours, regardless of how the land is held.

How long do solar systems actually last?

Accepted Answer

Panels: 25–30 years (manufacturer 25-year output guarantee). Inverter: 10–15 years. Lithium batteries: 10–15 years. We use Tier-1 components — the same brands Thai utility solar farms use.

Can I start the conversation before I'm in Pai?

Yes — and most foreign customers do. Send us your land location (Google Maps pin), plot size, and what you're planning to build. We'll give you an honest ballpark and schedule the site visit for the next time you're on the ground.

Do you take a deposit upfront?

No deposit before the site visit. After you've met us and seen the written quote, a deposit secures your install slot — but we don't ask for money to come and have a look at your land.
